A lot of laughs and good times bowling and going to tournaments. I remember one time Laura wanted some pop after dinner and there was several machines on our way back to the hotel ( we were walking back). Laura went to the first machine and tried to get some pop and the machine was jammed with paper towels so the money didn't go anywhere and when she pulled out the paper towel some quarters came out. She tries the other machines and same thing happened. Shoney's had strawberry pies for $4.95 and she collected $5 and some change. She decided she needed strawberry pie more than anything and so did the rest of us. We walked back to Shoneys bought the pie asked for some forks and a knife some plates and we walked back to the hotel and had pie.

My thoughts and prayers will be with her family. I truly believe that if it hadn't been for some of the long talks that she had with me during my many trips to Pruntytown that My life wouldn't have changed. She truly cared about each of us while we were there. The Lord gained an angel. It was such an honor to know such a?wonderful and caring lady. She treated us like we were her own. God bless you and yours!! Fly high!!

Laura and I went to church together and before she became the choir director she stood beside me in the choir. We also did skits together and had a ball doing them, she was so much fun to work with. When I moved to Preston County and couldn't go to church there any longer I really missed it. I'm so sorry for your loss but God sure did get a special Angel. RIP Friend see you soon.
