John Homer Waters

John Homer Waters, age 73, of W. Saint Charles Street, Grafton, passed away Wednesday, January 9, 2013, at Mon General Hospital. He was born in Grafton, December 1, 1939, a son of the late Albert Charles Waters and Eileen (Yates) Waters.
John enjoyed music, listening to the radio, and playing cards. Surviving are: two brothers, William Waters, and Thomas Waters, both of Grafton; three sisters, Sarah Myers, of Grafton, Mary Alice Fisher, of New Jersey, and Patricia Waters, of Grafton; two sisters in law, Peggy Waters Haddix and Rose Marie Waters, both of Grafton; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers, Robert Waters, Richard Waters, and Charles Waters.
Friends may call at Bartlett Funeral Home, 202 McGraw Ave., Grafton, on Monday from 6-8 PM. A rite of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, January 15, 2013, at the funeral home with Father Douglas Ondeck as celebrant. A vigil prayer service will be conducted at the funeral home Monday, at 7:30 PM. Interment at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
