Sarah Sue Myers

Sarah Sue Myers , 81 of Grafton passed away Saturday, October 21, 2017 at United Hospital Center, with her loving family by her side. She was born in Grafton, May 2, 1936 a daughter of the late Albert C. and Eileen Yates Waters. She will join her husband Charles D. Myers, who preceded her death August 10, 2001.

Sarah was a proud graduate of Saint Augustine School. After graduation she worked for a time in Washington, D.C. in the offices of the Cand P Telephone Company and then here in Grafton as a telephone operator. She was also proud to be a volunteer at Rosewood Nursing Care facility for several years. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and her greatest joys was her great grandchildren.

Surviving is one daugher, JoEllen Dodrill and husband Herb of Grafton, four grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, two brothers: Bill Waters, and Tom Waters both of Grafton, one sister: Mary Alice Fisher Belvedere, NJ, one sister-in-law, Rose Marie Waters, and many nieces and nephews cousins and her special best friend Lois Gerome.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one son, Richard "Rick" Myers, four brothers, Robert, Richard, David, and Johnny Waters, one sister, Patricia Waters.

Friends will be received at Bartlett Funeral Home, 202 McGraw Ave. on Tuesday, October 24, 2017 4:00- 8:00 PM. A prayer Virgil Service will be at 7:30 PM. on Tuesday, A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, October 25, 2017, at the Saint Augustine Catholic Church with Father Jim O'Connor as celebrant. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
