My deepest sympathies and heartfelt condolences to the McCumbers family ... I have often heard Edna Speak of Moe ... I know he will be greatly Missed by Many! My Heart goes Out to all of you in the family .... all of his friends and loved and members of the community affected by such a tragic loss ... You all are truly in my PRAYERS! May the Lord Give You Strength & Comfort You as struggle to carry the torch and March on through the Journey of Life as I'm sure Moe would have wanted you to ... from what I heard of him he was something else. You can just look into his eyes and see he had a lively spirit about him. God Bless All of You and as I said I will be Praying for You ... Amen Sincerely ... Julie D. Montgomery

As I read down the messages, the memories and the thoughtful words left for Moe, I wonder if he knew just how loved he really was by his friends. I never saw Moe mad, never once saw him without a smile on his face. I believe that we could learn something from the kind of person Moe was and the way he lived his life. He never wanted for material things, he never asked or expected anything in return when he had helped another. He only wanted to enjoy your time and you to enjoy his. I will miss his updates on my father log jobs and our conversations about trees. He was the truest of heart of any person I have had the pleasure to meet and I will miss him greatly. Most of all I will miss his laugh. Moe's laugh came from pour joy of life, there is not many who have that and Moe sure did. He loved his life and the people in it very much. There is a lot to say about a man who loves life that way. I loved you very Moe for all these and more reasons and will miss you forever.

Every October we try to get to WV to see the Autumn leaves and visit friends, among the first we would always see is Moe. Enjoyed his Moe tales immensely and enjoyed how much he and my Mother enjoyed their time together - now they have eternity to enjoy together along with Bub. I sure do hope there are "hot wings" in heaven because the man sure did love them and they couldn't be too hot. He will be missed by all the family, most especially during our trips to Stumptown in the Fall!
