I know you will be cheering on the Mountaineers tonight during the "Backyard Brawl!" However, I know you and your Mom are cheering for the "The Pride of West Virginia Mountaineer Marching Band!"

To someone who was allergic to dogs in which she loved so much she was willing to endure allergy shots, just to be close to Ranger and Sassy.

I was so saddened to hear of Ona's passing. I consider myself lucky to have met her when I was at WVU. She was technically my brother's friend, but it wasn't long before I was calling her mine, as well.Ona had the biggest heart and the most beautiful smile. I am comforted by the fact that I know she is watching over all of her fellow Mountaineers. Thank you, Ona, for being a friend. I'm blessed to have known you.

I knew Ona as a personal friend and co-worker.I loved her dearly. She loved her dogsand her flowers. She loved to garden. She was witty, intelligent, and had a heart of gold.I can't believe she has left us,but I'm sure the angels in Heaven are rejoicing to receivesuch a sweet soul into their realm. I feel so privileged and honored to call her my friend.Sue McIntire

Though I didn't know Ona personally, I spoke to her many times at work. Even in these brief encounters one could tell she had a certain grace. She will be missed.
