I didn't know Manuella (Betty) as long as most of you, but she had that ability to make you a friend as soon as she met you. She was very generous, caring and just a delight to visit with. She always had to give you something when you came to visit and once it was a dancing skirt that she had when she square danced. There was enough leftover material to have a teddy bear made for her to give to Daisy. That wasn't her first gift nor will it be her last; but nothing that she gave us will be as valuable as her memory. "Go high upon that Mountain" Betty, you have earned your place. Ruth Turner

Words aren't enough to express my feelings for Betty, she was much more than a sister in law. She was generous, thoughtful and a real free spirit. I remember her picking wild strawberries for a shortcake for me when I had mumps at nine or so. She took us Estel boys as her own and I remember riding in the car and singing at the top of our voices with her. You're always in my heart Betty. Carl
