Janice "DeeDee" Mooney

Janice Denise "DeeDee" Mooney, age 50 of Grafton, passed away Monday, September 14, 2015, at Ruby Memorial Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Grafton, January 11, 1965, a daughter of the late George E. Mooney and Ruth Anderson Mooney of Grafton.
DeeDee graduated from Grafton High School Class of 1984. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and they were her world like her three sons. DeeDee worked as a Deputy Tax-Assessor-Taylor County Sheriff's Office. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Grafton, Grafton Lions Club, Friends of McKinney Field, and anything at Grafton High School. She was always there with a helping hand to help with any fundraisers. DeeDee had a big heart when it came to helping out anyone in need.
In addition to her mother, DeeDee is survived by her three sons, Keith Leach and wife Tosha, Andy Leach and wife Megan, Sam Leach and wife Carrie all of Grafton; five loving grandchildren, Ben Leach, Chloie Leach, Willow Leach, Emileigh Leach, and Lucas Leach; a special niece, Rhonda Boyce, great niece, Kelsie West, and great great niece, Ava West all of Grafton; numerous cousins and lots of friends.
In addition to her father she was preceded in death by one; sister, Sue Mitchell; three brothers, Henry, Allen and Richard Mooney
Friends will be received at the First Baptist Church of Grafton on Saturday, September 19, 2015, from 9:00 am until time of service at 3:00 pm with Rev Orville Wright officiating. Inurnment will follow at Bluemont Cemetery.
