Anna Clyde Boyles

Anna Clyde Fawcett Boyles, 96, of Grafton, Went home to the Lord, Friday, January 15, 2016 at Lonnie and Donna Mayles' home, with her loving family by her side. She was born in Taylor County, May 11, 1919, a daughter of the late Robert Franklin Fawcett and Helen Gould Wells Fawcett. Her husband, Paul Junior Boyles, preceded her in death in May 29, 2001.
Anna took her first steps in the church that her great-grandfather, Marion Morgan, help to build; the Parkview Church of the Nazarene. After much prayer Anna was very instrumental in helping set the foundation and build the congregation of the Blueville Church of the Nazarene. She was so proud that she had begun teaching Sunday school at the age of 16, and had continued to do so for decades later. Anna and Paul spent their vacations and summers for many years cooking at the Nazarene Campground in Summersville, WV. She loved being a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and also great-great-grandmother. Anna had been a Christian for 80 years.
After 56 years of marriage, Anna and Paul renewed their wedding vows on July 9th, 2000. Anna enjoyed collecting nativity scenes and has a total of over 375 sets. Anna was presented the Distinguished Service Award at the Blueville Church of the Nazarene November the 26th, 2006. She also received a plaque in honor of her 71 years of service to the church.
She is survived by her two daughters: Rue Ann Hoff and husband Gary, Cincinnati, OH. And Paula Joyce Kesner and husband Roy "Stick", Shinnston, five grandchildren: Cathi Swank and husband Darrien, Lori Napier and husband Pat, Jayden Hoff, Kammy Spatz and husband Jim, and Joshua Kesner and wife Amber, fifteen great grandchildren; Cody Boyles, Breanna Spatz, Dalton Spatz, Austin Swank, Evan Napier, Eric Napier, Nicholas Hoff, Lane Swank, Hunter Swank, Morgan Napier, Delaney Kesner, Peyton Hoff, Vandyn kesner, Daislyn Kesner and Logan Swank. Two great great children; Haylee Boyles and Paxton Kohler, one daughter-in-law; Dottie Boyles, Ind., one sister-in -law; Reu Fawcett.
In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by one son: Larry Wade Boyles, four brothers and three sister-in-laws; James R. Fawcett, and wife Minnie, Robert W. Fawcett and wife Rose, Harold "Jabo" Fawcett and wife Norma, an infant brother; Paul Fawcett.
The family will receive friends Monday, January 18th, 2016, from 2pm-7pm at Bartlett Funeral Home, 202 McGraw Ave. Grafton, WV. Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:00am, Tuesday, January 19th, 2016 with Rev. Jerry Bush officiating. Interment will follow at Woodsdale Memorial Park.
