Dona Rosaline Powell

Dona Rosaline Powell, 92, Phoenix, AZ. Formerly of Lucerita Community passed away Thursday, May 28, 2015 at Hospice Care House in Glendale, AZ., Dona was born March 14, 1923 in Moatsville, WV, daughter of the late Harry O. and Cora Jane Shahan Hovatter. Her husband Cecil Powell preceded her death June 12, 1986.
Dona worked at Carr China, Shirt Factory and was a member of the Grafton Seventh Day Adventist Church, and VFW Ladies Aux. 3081.
She is survived by two children: Linda Sue Barnes and husband Page, and James Herbert Powell, and wife Marilyn Phoenix, AZ., two grandchildren: Jennifer Creed Powell, Jonathan Creed Powell and wife Tiffany, one great granddaughter: Lillian Powell, one Twin Sister; Dorothy F. Poling, one sister: Betty Stafford Swick and husband Cliff both of Grafton. and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her brothers: Odbert Hovatter, Dennis Hovatter, John Hovatter, Carl Hovatter, Eldon Shahan, Charles Goff, William Goff, and two: sister Lucille Bartlett, and Wilda Goff, Audrey Goodwin
Friends will be received at Bartlett Funeral Home, 202 McGraw Ave., Grafton, on Monday, June 1, 2015 from 3-8 PM. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at Bartlett Funeral Home with Pastor James Volpe officiating . Interment will follow at Woodsdale Memorial Park.
