Wilma Jean Flynn

Wilma Jean Flynn,76 of Grafton, passed Thursday, June 19, 2025 at Grafton City Hospital. She was born February 22, 1949 in Fellowsville, WV., daughter of the late James and Gladys Ruby Sigley Dawson, Wilma was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Neil Flynn, May 23, 2016.

Wilma graduated of Grafton High School, Class of 1968. She worked many years caring for others as a CNA. Wilma worked at Hopemont Hospital and at Rosewood for over twenty-five years. She later took a position in the Deli at Walmart where she became known for the chicken salad. Wilma liked to be out and about while being active and engaging in social activities in the community. She liked to sit on the porch take in the sunshine and watch the people as they go by. Wilma loved her close circle of family and friends unconditionally.

Wilma is survived by two children, Terri Hose and Edgar Neil Flynn, Jr. (Alicia); five grandchildren three great grandchildren; three sisters, Patty Moats, Karen Kellaway, and Donna Metz.
