William "Bill" Walter Obituary

William "Bill" Edward Walter, 63 of Grafton passed away on Friday, March 3, 2023 at Rosewood Center, with his loving family by his side. He was born March 24, 1959 in Grafton, son of, Lottie Haskiell Walter of Grafton and the late James A. Walter.

Bill was graduate of Grafton High School, Class of 1978. He was a lifelong member of the St. Augustine Catholic Church. Bill liked to cook and worked as a cook at many restaurants including the Stagecoach Restaurant and Jerry’s Restaurant. He had many hobbies; including working on his F-150 truck, hunting and fishing. Bill loved the time he spent with his family making special memories with each of them.  He will be greatly missed by them and all who knew him.

In addition to his mother, Bill is survived by his loving partner, Ruth Bonomi; three daughters, Ruth Walter, Stacey Robinson (Joe), Crystal Shorter (Sean); twelve grandchildren, Savannah, Sean, Jeffery, Makayla, Breanna, Tiana, Jayme, Austin, Gavin, Jake, Jace, and Brooklyn; two great grandchildren, Paisley and Nova; two sisters, Mary Catherine Smith, Betty Walter; four brothers, James Walter, Robert Walter, Tommy Walter(Cheryl), John Walter (Tammy).

In addition to his father, Bill was preceded death by his grandson, Shane Walter.
