William Carl "Billy" Wolfe, 65, of Grafton, West Virginia, passed away on Sunday, June 15, 2025, at Rosewood Nursing Home. Born on October 20, 1959, in Baltimore, Maryland, he was the son of the late Emmett Wolfe and Arizona Roberta Bolyard Wolfe Stewart.
Billy was a Pentecostal by faith and had a deep appreciation for classic entertainment and music. He enjoyed watching shows like The Beverly Hillbillies and westerns, and listening to gospel and traditional country music. Known for his remarkable memory, Billy could recall phone numbers after hearing them just once. He had a passion for collecting photographs of people he met and often asked for pictures when he encountered someone new. On the airwaves, Billy was recognized by his CB radio handle, "Teddy Bear," engaging in long conversations with his CB buddies.
Billy is survived by his three sisters, Wilma Sandy (Brett), Mary Hines (Joe), and Bonny Kemper; and two brothers, Jack Wolfe (Judy) and Fred Wolfe; several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to express their gratitude and appreciation to Rosewood Nursing Home and WV Caring Hospice for all compassion and care given to Billy.
In addition to his parents Billy was preceded in death by his stepfather, Carl Stewart; five brothers—Willard, Robert, Delmas, Teddy, and Willis Wolfe; and one sister, Lea Anna Bolyard.
