Willard Junior Jennings 91, of Thornton, passed away on Thursday, October 12, 2023, at Grafton City Hospital with his family by his side. He was born in Grafton on February 3, 1932, son of the late Alton Jennings and Ada Stewart Jennings Heldreth. Willard was preceded in death by his wife of seventy-one years, Mary Lou Bolyard Jennings on September 3, 2023.
Willard retired from the B&O Railroad as a Bridge/Building Foreman. He belonged to the Brotherhood of Maintenance of Way. He enjoyed farming, camping, hunting, fishing and just being outdoors. He was a member of Maple Run Community Church.
Willard is survived by two sons, Willard Clay Jennings (Brenda) Frametown, WV, Steve Jennings (Nancy) Thornton; three grandchildren, Stormie Deal and Mark, Nick Jennings and Crystal, and Stevie Jennings; six great grandchildren, Logan, Tiffany, Sabrina, Nikki, Caitlyn, and Brandon, and Alexis; two great great grandchildren, Layton Clay and Hadley Rayne; and several nieces and nephews
In addition to his parents and wife, Willard was preceded in death by one brother, Wilford Jennings; one sister, Vivian Pennington
