Wesley Lee Mayle, 63, of St. Clairsville, Ohio, passed away surrounded by family on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at the Continuous Care Center of Wheeling Hospital. He was born September 19, 1962, in Grafton, West Virginia, a son of Richard Dayton Mayle and the late Velva Jean Mayle.
Wesley was a Physician’s Assistant at Wheeling Hospital for over 30 years. He was a graduate of Alderson Broaddus University. He was a member of the NRA, Ducks Unlimited and Whitetails Unlimited. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoyed hunting, and laughing with his friends. He loved spending time with friends and family at the cabin in the back end in West Virginia. He was a Christian by faith.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Velva Jean Mayle.
In addition to his father, he is survived by his daughter, Dayton Rae Mayle; brother, Rodney (Darlene) Mayle; sister, Becky (Steve) Miller; and beloved cousins, nephew, nieces, and friends.
Family and friends will be received on Monday, October 13, 2025 from 1-3 p.m. & 5-7 p.m. at Toothman Funeral Home, St. Clairsville, Ohio.
Visitation will be held at Bartlett Funeral Home, 202 McGraw Ave., Grafton on Tuesday, October 14, 2025 from 1:00PM until 2:00PM the time of the funeral service Pastor Mark Miller officiating. Burial will follow at the Pritchard Cemetery, Barbour County, West Virginia.
