Walter Spurlock Obituary

Walter Vernon Spurlock, 43 of Philippi, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, August 13, 2020. He was born February 26, 1977 in Rushville, IND., son of Roxanna Judd Keener and Roy Spurlock, Stepfather Russell Keener.

Walter was a very hardworking guy with a big heart for anyone he met. He loved riding four wheelers, fishing, going to the lake, and working on his cars. He enjoyed spending quality time with his family and friends. Walter was an avid NASCAR and New England Patriots fan.

He is survived by two children, Timmy Schlaubach and Shelby Spurlock both of Indiana; one sister, Sherry Phillips, Philippi; five brothers, Greg Spurlock, NC, Jeff Spurlock, Ben Spurlock, Chris Spurlock, Raymond Greer, all Indiana, and many nieces and nephews.

Walter was preceded in death by his Maternal and Paternal Grandparents.
