Virginia Ann Board

Virginia Ann Board, 59 of the West Hill Community passed away on Saturday April 18, 2026 at her home. She was born November 14, 1966 in Philippi, daughter of the late Roy Junior and Fannie M. Merritt Drummond, Virginia is survived by her husband Richard Board of twenty-seven wonderful years, they were married October 28, 1997.

Virginia was a devoted homemaker whose greatest joy in life was the time she shared with her family and friends. She found simple pleasures in shopping and watching television, but nothing meant more to her than the moments she spent surrounded by her children and grandchildren, who were truly the center of her world.

Virginia is survived by, two daughters, Christina Zinn (Mark), Amanda Mayle and one son, John Thomas Mayle lll, (Alicia) three sisters, Carol Duley (Tom), Patty Ann Smith, Mary Jane Judy; one brother, Junior Ray Drummond; six grandchildren, Maverick, Colt, Kayliegh, Sawyer, Draven and Audrey.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Violet Louise and Nancy Mae.

Family and friends will be received at Bartlett Funeral Home, 202 McGraw Ave., Grafton on Wednesday, April 22, 2026 from 4:00PM until 6:00PM.
