Vickey Michelle Hayes

Vickey Michelle Hayes, 63, of Grafton, passed away at her home on Monday, December 22, 2025. She was born in Sandusky, Ohio, on July 22, 1962, a beloved daughter of the late Robert Lewis Hayes and Peggy Jean Hunt Hayes.

Vickey dedicated more than twenty-eight years of her life to caring for others through her work as a floor supervisor in the Dietary Department at Grafton City Hospital. Known for her kind heart and gentle spirit, she was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Vickey found great joy in cooking and took pride in sharing her homemade dishes with friends and family. She cherished time spent with loved ones, whether gathered together for special occasions or simply enjoying a brief visit.

She is survived by her seven sisters and brothers, Robert Hayes (Michelle), Cathy Stolzenfels (Les), Kim Duckworth (Mike), Peggy Ferris (Sean), Lisa Rosier (Dave), Steve Hayes and Vanessa Daniels (Eric); nephew, Ethan Hayes; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Vickey was preceded in death by two sisters, Teri Kimble and Angela Smith, and one brother, Daniel Hayes.
