Timothy Clyde Shipp, 58 of Thornton passed away unexpectedly at his residence on Sunday, January 15, 2023. He was born February 19, 1964, son of the late Ralph William Shipp Sr. and is survived by his mother Bonnie Wolfe Shipp Tucker and step father Tommy Tucker.
Timmy was a caring man with a heart of gold. He enjoyed being outdoors working in the yard and driving on old back roads. He also liked to spend time in the garage with his close brother and best friend Randy along with close friends, watching NASCAR and football. Timmy worked for Watusi Mobile Homes, Jewels Mobile Homes, J&M Contracting and Amber Mobile Home. He also worked for J&J Homes from 1993- 1999 and the family owned business, S&S Mobile Homes from 1999 to present.
In addition to his mother and step father Timmy is survived by five brothers, Ralph Shipp Jr.,(Janie), Terry Shipp, Randy Shipp (Debbie), Larry Shipp (Beth), and Robert Shipp, two sisters, Diane Pederson, and Cathy Spencer, mother in-law Pauline Shafferman, sister in-law Sandra Shafferman Schoen (Kenneth), two brothers in-law, Charles Shafferman (Carrie) , and Jason Shafferman, two special God children that he loved dearly, Liam and Leesa Grace, several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins.
In addition to his father Timmy was preceded in death by his loving wife of thirty-six years, Mona Lisa Safferman Shipp, father in-law Charles Shafferman, two sister in-law, Debbie Shipp and Brenda Shafferman, two brother in-law, Mike Pederson and Roger Spencer and nephew, Nick Swan.
Family and friends will be received at Bartlett Funeral Home, 202 McGraw Ave., Grafton, on Sunday, January 22, 2023 from 2:00PM until 7:00PM and on Monday, January 23, 2023 from 9:00AM until 12:00PM the hour of the funeral with Pastor Jimmy Johnson officiating.
