Teresa Lynn Austin, 58 of Grafton passed away on Tuesday, February 18, 2025 at her home. She was born December 6, 1966 in Grafton, daughter of David Lee and Linda Gordon Rager of Grafton. She is survived by her husband, Terry Vaughn Austin, Sr., whom she married July 5, 1986 spending more than thirty-nine years together.
Teresa was a graduate of South Garrett High School. She worked as a Certified Nurse and a clerk at Walmart. She was a faithful member of the Parkview Church of the Nazarene. Teresa loved her church family, especially the children of the church. She was a happy person, and her favorite color was purple and she liked her bling. Teresa would sing whenever she heard music and lots of times dance to the tunes too. She liked people and was very caring toward others. Teresa was proud to assist with the Celebrate in Recovery program, and was first to offer to help and give her time to others in need. She loved her family more than words say.
In addition to her parents and husband, Teresa is survived by two sons, Terry “Homer” Austin II, and Tyler “Ty Ty” Austin (Pao); one brother, David “Buck” Rager (Lisa); mother-in-law, Linda Austin; several nieces, nephews, cousins and her dogs, Gracey and Bailey.
Teresa was preceded in death by a daughter in infancy, Mary Elizabeth; father-in-law, Butch Austin.
Family and friends will be received at the Parkview Church of the Nazarene, Parkview Campus, on Thursday, February 27, 2025, from 3:00PM until the funeral hour at 6:00PM., with Pastor Mike Delligatti officiating.
