Tamela "Tammy" S. (Posey) Dawson

Tamela S. “Tammy” Dawson, 61 of Grafton passed away Saturday April 16, 2022 at the United Hospital Center in Bridgeport. Tammy was born May 10, 1960 in Grafton, daughter of the late David and Marilyn Weaver Posey. Tammy is survived by her husband of 22 years, Charles Noble Dawson, they were married April 20, 1999.

Tammy was a graduate of Grafton High School, class of 1978. She enjoyed working as a waitress at Jerry’s Restaurant meeting new people and making lots of friends. She would relax while reading a good book or working a word puzzle, and doing her favorite crafts. Tammy greatest joy was her family and her grandchildren, she treasured the time she spent with each of them while making many memories with each of them. She will be greatly missed by each of them.

Tammy is survived by three children, Nicole Renea Posey, Jessalea Brooke Posey, Charlisa Elaine Dawson, eleven grandchildren, Cambre, Corey, Ariana, Cole Harley, Zach, Cade, Brooke, David Logan, Karlie Sue, and David Noble, one great grandchild, Arya, four nieces and nephew, Keisha, Anissa, Brandon, and Hayden, one sister, Tracy Cline, two brothers, David J. Posey and Paul Jason Posey.

In addition to her parents, Tammy was preceded in death by her son, Logan Noble Wade Dawson.
