Shirley Jean Robinson, 76 of Grafton passed away on Tuesday, November 23, 2022 at Rosewood Nursing Home. She was born April 23, 1946 in Salem. Daughter of the late James and Eva Clevenger Hursey.
Shirley retired from the Taylor County Board of Education with over thirty years driving school bus. Bus number 49 was the bus she finished her career driving. She was a woman that enjoyed life and being with people. She liked being out and about, line dancing, going to rodeo’s and riding horses. Shirley liked animals, especially her cats and horses. She loved her family unconditionally and all the special times they spent together making memories with each of them. She will be missed by her family and all who knew her.
Shirley is survived by four children, James “Jim” Hursey (Edna) Lumberport, Cynthia “Cindy” McDaniel (Rodney), Judith “Judy” Riley (Rodney), Amanda Lucas (PJ) Grafton, six grandchildren, Cierra, Kiley, Elizabeth, Hunter, Jesse, and Jackson, one sister, Mary Ann Boyles (Junior) Grafton, one brother, Eddie Hursey (Dee) Clarksburg.
Friends may call at Bartlett Funeral Home, 202 McGraw Ave. Grafton on Monday, November 28, 2022 from 3-7PM. Cremation will follow by Shirley’s wishes.
