Sheri Janelle Grubb

Sheri Janelle Grubb 64, of Morgantown passed away on Wednesday, September 27, 2023 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown. She was born 0n August 20, 1959 in Philippi, WV daughter of the late, Lawrence Ray Satterfield and is survived by her mother, Rosemary “Harlene” Matthews Satterfield.  Sheri is survived by her husband Robert Eugene Grubb whom she married on May 18, 1983, spending over forty years together.

Sheri was a graduate of Morgantown High School, Class of 1977 and had a four-year degree from the West Virginia University. She worked many years as a social worker with her last employment at Pace Enterprises. Sheri enjoyed working in her flowers and gardening. Sheri spent lots of time making crafts and sharing them with her friends and family. She thought of her family as her biggest blessing and spent lots of time with each of them and making precious memories.

Sheri is survived by one sister, Brenda Blosser (Fred), two brothers, Richard Satterfield (Gina), Rodney Satterfield, two nieces, Hannah and Jimmy, Elizabeth, two nephews, Matthew and Jack, one great nephew, Cutler, and her special dogs, JoJo and Mia. 

Family and friends will be received at Bartlett Funeral Home,202 McGraw Ave. Grafton, WV. on Monday, October 2, 2023 from 11:00AM. Until the time of the Funeral Service at 1:00PM. with Jeff Hanlin officiating. Interment will follow at the Matthews Family Cemetery on Oak Grove Road.
