Sandra Jean Lake, 74 of Kingwood, WV., passed away at Rosewood Nursing Home in Grafton on Tuesday, May 26, 2026. She was born in Grafton, April 26,1952 daughter of the late Eugene and Mildred Shackelford Whisner.
Sandy dedicated many years of her life to Georgia Pacific Packaging Co. and the High Life Lounge, where she built lasting friendships and touched countless lives along the way. She found great joy in music and was an especially devoted fan of Trace Adkins, whose songs often brought a smile to her face. Above all else, Sandy cherished her family. Whether gathered together at outings or sharing quiet one-on-one moments, the time she spent with her loved ones meant the world to her.
Sandy is survived by one daughter, Jamie Brewer; one granddaughter, Destiny Weaver; one grandson, Spencer Taylor; one brother, Robert Whisner; special friends, Kim Kelley, and Toshua Jones and family.
