Roy Junior Poling

Roy Junior Poling 77, of Grafton, passed away on Monday, August 9, 2021, at his residence with his loving wife by his side. He was born in Grafton March 8, 1944, son of the late Ernest Ray and Cecelia Marie Ashby Poling. He was married to Janette Young Poling on November 16, 2010.

Roy worked many years as a Senior Citizen Companion. He attended and was a faithful member of the Fellowship Mission Church in Webster. Roy loved to fish and hunt, he loved being with people and enjoyed going to McDonald’s. He enjoyed time spent with his friends and family while making memories with each of them.

Roy is survived by one brother, Fred Poling (Barbara) Grafton, one sister, Darlene Jenkins Grafton, one daughter, Sueann Campbell (Steve) Fairmont, three grandchildren, Shawna, Stephanie, and Joe, several great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents Roy was preceded in death by two wives Muretta Poling and Judy Poling, ten brothers and sisters; Gladys Marie Martin, Genevieve Snyder, Lona Frey, William Ray Poling, Lula Bell Workman, Loretta Jean Myers, Lester Poling, Linda Lou Weaver, Patricia Ann Poling, and Ernest Lee Poling.

Roy’s request for cremation has been honored. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM.
