Rosemary Rinko

Rosemary Rinko, 90 of Grafton, passed away on Sunday, May 17, 2026 at Taylor Health Care Center Grafton, WV., She was born in Fairmont, WV on April 30, 1936, daughter of the late Eli and Anna Miller Rinko.

Rosemary was a proud graduate of Grafton High School and North Virginia Community College. She dedicated more than thirty years of faithful service to the Federal Government, eventually retiring as a respected supervisor with the Department of Defense.

Beyond her career, Rosemary found joy in life’s simple and peaceful moments. She loved tending to her garden, where her care and patience helped everything bloom beautifully. She could often be found relaxing on the porch with a good book in hand, savoring the quiet moments she cherished most. Her warmth, gentle spirit, and love for home and family will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Rosemary is survived by a very special friend, Myra Simpson, several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, Rosemary was preceded death by two sisters, Mildred Radcliff, and Marie Seay; three brothers, Paul Rinko, Mitchell Opas, and George Opas.

To honor Rosemary’s wishes she will be cremated and no services will be held.
