Ronald Lee Kerns, 87, of Webster passed away on Sunday, September 26, 2021 at WV Caring Hospice Center, Elkins, He was born on April 23, 1934 in Pleasant Creek, son of the late Dorsey and Gaye Bolyard Kerns. Ronald is survived by his soul partner Louise “Tinney” Streets Kerns. They were married on December 24, 1951; spending nearly seventy years together.
Ronald was a graduate of Flemington High School. He owned and operated a trucking company and also had worked for W.S. Thomas Trucking. He loved the Lord. He sang for over twenty years and loved to travel. He enjoyed watching motorsports, especially go kart racing with his family.
In addition to his wife, Ronald is survived by two daughters, Judy Dawson (Dennis) and Karen Rutherford; one son, Randy Kerns (Jill); five grandchildren, Amber Baker (Rick), Brandon Peters (Rachael), D.J. Dawson (Lindsey), Harley Phillips (Gabe), and Dylan Peters; four great grandchildren, Sawyer, Landry, Ryker, Quinne and one great grandchild on the way; one brother, Blaine Kerns; one sister, Margaret Rogers; by sister-in-law, Georgie Kerns; special nephew, Rick Kerns and family and by all his nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one grandson, Mitchell Kerns; sister, Pauline McWilliams and by two brothers, Diz Kerns and Robert Kerns.
