Roger Lee LeMasters

Roger Lee LeMasters, 80 of Grafton passed away Saturday, September 21, 2024 at Mon General Hospital. He was born July 23, 1944 in Grafton, son of the late Stanley and Violet Pitman LeMasters, he is preceded in death by his wife, Margaret “Maggie” LeMasters, October 12, 2012.

Roger was a graduate of Grafton High School, Class of 1962, and attended Fairmont State College for four years receiving his Bachelor’s degree. He worked as an adjuster for State Farm Insurance Company for many years.  Roger belonged to many organizations including; Theta XI, B.O.E., and the Elks 3081. He was a faithful member of the First Christian Church. Roger was an avid sports fan and was a true fan of the West Virginia Mountaineers. He loved reading and especially enjoyed a good mystery. Roger loved the time he spent with his family while making special memories with each of them. He had a special dog and companion, Benji that he spent much of his time with.

Roger is survived by four children, Lori Heinlein (Carl), Sarah Price (Terrance), Jacob LeMasters (Kadie) and Dillon LeMasters, six grandchildren, Zachary Heinlein, Benjamin Heinlein, William Price, Wyatt Price, Alexander LeMasters, and Nora LeMasters.

Family and friends will be received at Bartlett Funeral Home, 202 McGraw Ave., Grafton on Tuesday, September 24, 2024 from 3:00 to 7:00PM. and on Wednesday, September 25, 2024 from 9:00AM until the time of the funeral at 11:00AM with Rev. Jeff Minard officiating. Interment will follow at Bluemont Cemetery.
