Roger Lee Harvey, 71, of Grafton passed away on Sunday, January 26, 2020 at Grafton City Hospital. He was born in Grafton, WV on July 19, 1948, and is the son of the late Bertha Clevenger.
Roger graduated from Grafton High School, Class of 1966. He retired after forty five years in the Grocery Business, working at the Grafton Thorofare, and Save Lot. He enjoyed playing fast pitch softball for Russ Trickett, and was a sport fan of WVU and the Steelers. Roger liked going to the rest homes to visit while reading the Bible and singing with the residences, and he enjoyed being with his family and friends.
Roger is survived by three children, Carla Austin and husband George, Jerry Harvey and wife Carol, Duane Harvey all of Grafton; four grandchildren, Amber Queen and husband Matt, Matt Newlon, Spencer Young and husband Jerin, Broderick Harvey; three step-grandchildren, Cinnamon Johnson, George Johnson, Kimberly Pittzer; three great grandchildren, Landon Queen, Alaina Queen, Oliver Young; one sister, Thelma Findley and husband Tom, Grafton; one brother Ralph Paul Clevenger and wife Tiffany, of Philippi; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his mother he was preceded in death by his step-father, Ralph Clevenger.
