Obituary

Roberta Ann “Bobbie” Murray, 75 of Grafton, passed away Sunday, March 20, 2022 at her home. She was born in Grafton, October 5, 1946, daughter of the late Wayne and Helen Gatian Runner. Bobbie Ann, was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John W. “Johnny Bill” Murray, March 22, 2013.

Bobbie  Ann graduated from Grafton High School, class of 1964, she worked with her parents at Runner’s Florist. She loved flowers and enjoyed watching all the flowers blooming each spring. She enjoyed doing jig saw puzzles and working on her tablet. She loved playing words with friends especially with her niece Lynette.

Bobbie Ann is survived by one sister, Wilma “Billie” Bowman and husband Richard, Grafton, one nephew, Chris Bowman and wife Karen, Bridgeport, their children, great nephew Tyler, one great niece Nicole. Bob’s children, Lynette, Jason, Josh and Nick and their families, and many other nieces and nephews, one aunt Lessie Runner, Charleston, and many dear friends.

Bobbie Ann was preceded in death by, one son, John William Murray, Jr., one daughter, Johna Ann Murray, twin brothers, Robert “Bob” and sister -in-law, Anita Arble Runner,

Graveside service was held at 10:00 AM, Thursday March 24, 2022, in the West Virginia National Cemetery, where she was laid to rest by her husband.
