Robert “Bob” Lee Tucker, 71, of Grafton, passed away on Sunday, May 19, 2024 at his residence with family by his side. He was born on August 23, 1952 in Fairmont, WV, a son of the late Walter Ethan and Dorothy Louise Palmer Tucker.
Bob survived by his wife of 49 years, JoAnn Miller Tucker whom he married on July 20, 1974; two children, Jennifer (Raymond) Glaspell, Flemington, and Robert (Julie) Lee Tucker Jr, Grafton; seven grandchildren, JoCee(Mason), Katie, Gabby, Addie, Bella, Tenley, and Remi; one great grandson, Waylon.
Bob was a graduate of East Fairmont High School. He worked as a machine operator for the coal mines for over 20 years and Rex-Hide for 10 years. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting, and fishing. He was a collector of WVU hats and mining stickers. He enjoyed the beach, car shows, and coaching sports.
Per his wishes, Bob will be cremated. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
