Robert Franklin Lambert

Robert Franklin Lambert, 87, passed away on  August 27, 2021 at Fitzwater’s Assisted Living, Fairmont. He was born in Grafton, January 25, 1934, son of the late Russell and Avis Scrange Lambert. Robert was preceded in death by his wife Della Jean Williams Lambert July 27, 2021.

Robert retired from US. Navy, graduated   from Grafton High School, class of 1951, enjoyed playing golf, mowing the grass and working out in his garden. He was the manger of the Andrews Air Force Base Golf Course for several years. Most of all he enjoyed time with his family and friends.

 He is survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

 In addition to his parents and wife he was preceded death by two sisters, JoAnn Pederson and Janice Satterfield.

The family will receive friends Monday, August 30, 2021 from 10AM- 12 Noon at Bartlett Funeral Home, Grafton, funeral services will begin at noon with Pastor Garry Whitescarver officiating. Interment will follow at the WV. National Cemetery, In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Alzheimer’s 225 N.
