Richard Waters

Richard “Rich” Waters, 58 of Grafton, passed away Tuesday, September 3, 2024 at his home. He was born in Grafton, March 24, 1966, son of the late Albert R. “Dick” and Rose Marie Lander Waters.

Rich was a graduate of Grafton High School, Class of 1984. He was a truck driver for Central Supply for many years, and also worked at Sam’s Club, and for Schwan’s Company. Rich loved the water, especially his time spent at Tygart Lake and in his pool. He enjoyed getting together with his friends and family whenever he could. Rich had lots of friends, and if you were his friend, you were his family. Rich will be greatly missed by all those who knew him.

Rich is survived by his son, Brandon Waters; one brother, James R. Waters, fiancée, Kimberly Wood; three nephews, Damon Waters (Allison), Devon Waters, (Alyssa) and Drew Waters; his four-legged companion, Tucker; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Rich is preceded in death by his daughter, Brittney N. Waters.

Family and friends will be received at Bartlett Funeral Home, 202 McGraw Ave., Grafton on Sunday, September 8, 2024 from 12:00Noon until 4:00PM and on Monday, September 9, 2024 from 9:00AM until the hour of the Catholic Funeral Rite at 11:00AM with Father Dominic Athishu officiating.
