Richard Henry Flint, Jr. 77, of Clarksburg, formerly of Grafton, passed away on Monday, March 23, 2020 at the Louis A. Johnson Medical Center, Clarksburg, with his loving family by his side. He was born in Canton, MA on May 20, 1942. He was the son of the late Richard Henry Flint, Sr. and Margaret Grover Wolffe. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Edna McDaniel Flint, they were married August 30, 1965.
He was a Veteran of the United States Navy from 1960-1969, serving in Vietnam from 1965-1966; member of the VFW of Clarksburg, American Legion, UMWA Local 31 Fairmont. Richard enjoyed his family, especially his grandkids and great grandkids, loved to fish, hunt, bowling, and celebrating all patriotic holidays.
Richard is survived by two children, Walter Flint and wife Donna, Morgantown, Debbie Wright, Clarksburg, grandchildren, Joshua Flint, Shinnston, Amber Koeger and companion Abram, Morgantown, Whittney Flint and companion Paul Wolfe, Morgantown, Amanda and Johnny Stutler Bridgeport, Trevor Wright, Fort Wayne, IN., Elizabeth Wright, Fort Wayne, IN., Tyler Dillow and Companion, Brenda, Morgantown, Cierra Wolfe and Cody, Morgantown, great grandchildren, Samuel, Ayden, Jayce, Jayna, Lukas, and Harper, one brother, Donnie Wolffe, MA., four sisters, Arlene Colp, Marriane Tayor, Margaret Manning, Donna Wolffe all of MA and by several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Paul Wolffe and Jimmy Flint, one sister Patty Wolffe.
