Randall D (Randy) Woodyard, 74, of Grafton, went to be with the Lord, May 24, 2024.

The son of James C Woodyard (Irene) and Tina Dadisman Shelton (Art), Randy is survived by daughters, Hei Jin Woodyard (Blake Driggs) Austin TX and Amelia Woodyard (Cruz Saucedo) and granddaughter, Skye Saucedo Bend, OR.

Also surviving are siblings, James Michel Woodyard, Debbie Waters (Bill), Cindy Merithew (Glenn) of FL and Len Smith (Ingrid) of PA, along with several loved nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and one great-great-nephew and one great-great-niece.

In addition to his parents, he was welcomed into heaven by his granddaughter Sarla Rae Saucedo and nephew Jesse Woodyard.

An avid sports fan, he excelled in high school sports at the Romney School of the Deaf and Blind. After graduation in 1967, he pursued a career in the Baltimore and Washington DC areas. After retiring from the Washington Post, he returned to Grafton to enjoy his retirement with friends, family and church family at Bible Baptist Temple.

In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated to the deaf ministries at Bible Baptist Temple 9436 Cost Ave, Stonewood, WV 26301 and WV Caring at 1 Hospital Drive, Grafton WV 26354.
