Ralph “Bosco” Carres Swiger, 68 of Grafton, passed away Friday, August 18, 2023 At United Hospital Center in Clarksburg surrounded by his loved ones. He was born in Grafton on July 7, 1955, the son of the late Charles William and Bettye Bartlett Swiger. Bosco is survived by his loving companion of ten years, Susan K. Boore.
Bosco graduated from Grafton High School, Class of 1973. He retired from Norfolk Southern Railroad with twenty-eight years of service. Bosco enjoyed going fishing, talking and telling stories with his family and friends. His favorite pastime was sitting on the porch and watching traffic go by. Bosco was known for his blackberry patch and his famous blackberry cobblers. He loved the time he spent with his family and friends.
Bosco is survived by three children, Ashton Whitney Swiger, Columbus Oh, Zachary Swiger (Tricia) Morgantown, and Ashley Carson (Gary) Grafton, nine grandchildren, Chloe, Ariess, October, Stone, Nathan, Anna, Remi, Levi and Hunter, three sisters, Susan Kirkpatrick, Glenville, Lee Ann Courtney (Loved one Bryan Conley), Grafton, Bobbi Jo Springs, Grafton, several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may call at Bartlett Funeral Home, 202 McGraw Ave., Grafton on Monday, August 21, 2023 from 3:00PM until 7:00PM on Tuesday, August 22,2023 from 9:00AM until the time of the funeral service at 11:00AM with Pastor Michael Stottlemyer officiating.
