Phillip Eugene Poling

Phillip “Phil” Eugene Poling, 54 of Grafton passed away on Monday, December 10, 2018 at the United Hospital Center with his family by his side. He was born January 13, 1964 in Grafton, WV; the son of the late Richard C. and Betty Lamm Poling.

Phil is survived by his only son, Phillip “Shane” Poling and wife Brittany and their son Conner of Clarksburg; one sister, Teresa Gerard and husband Sam; two brothers, Mark Poling and wife Kim and Steve Poling and companion Beverly, all of Grafton; several  nieces and nephews, Renee Quentin Poling, Jennifer Jones, Sabrina Poling, Tammy Poling, Steven “Steve-O” Poling,  Jason Poling, Samantha McDaniel, Christopher Poling , Justin Poling, Lorraine Hershman, Renee Larew, Amber Harrold, and Staphany Harrold; and Phil’s companion Karie and her daughters Kelsey and Madison Turley.

In addition to his parents, Phil is preceded in death by three brothers, Donald, Paul Kevin and Lynn Poling; and one niece Heather Poling.

Phil liked to enjoy the outdoors and go fishing. He was also a hard worker and a skilled carpenter. He had an outgoing personality and he could brighten anyone’s day. He also enjoyed spending time with his grandson Conner, who he loved more than anything. Phil was a one of a kind guy and was loved by all.
