Pennie Rae (Rutherford) Workman

Pennie Rae (Rutherford) Workman 65, Grafton passed away Friday July 29, 2022 at the Rosewood Health Center. She was born in Grafton, August 10, 1956 in Grafton, daughter of the late Bryan Carder and Ethel Mae (Duckworth) Rutherford.

She was an insurance billing clerk in the business office of the Grafton City Hospital until she became disabled and retired in 2012. Pennie was a graduate of Grafton High School, class of 1974. She enjoyed to crochet, watch tv, and being with her fur-babies.

In addition to her parents, Pennie was preceded in death by one brother, Kenneth Bryan Rutherford, Sr. who was her only sibling.

She is survived by a special friend, Richard Keith Workman, her son Bryan Vincent Knotts and a step son Michael Corey Workman (Sara Veda) both of Grafton, two nieces, Brenda Lou Weaver (Kenneth), Bridgewater Va, April Dawn Baker, St Albans, one nephew Kenneth Bryan Rutherford, Jr. (Nitro), two great nieces, Sonja Pennington (Ray) Bridgewater Va, Shannon Atkins and friend Mark Wright, Mt Sidney, Va, Aaron Baker, St Albans, Ben Baker, St Albans, and Bryan Rutherford, several cousins.
