Patricia Mae Newbraugh, 63 of Grafton, passed away Monday, May 19, 2025 at Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown with her loving family by her side. She was born September 14, 1961 in Oakland, MD. Patricia is survived by her husband, William Newbraugh whom she married August 16, 2003 spending more than twenty-one years together.
Patricia attended Southern High School in Oakland, Maryland. She was a hard worker and took pride in all she did. Patricia owned and operated Debbie’s Pantry until it closed, owned a franchise and managed Hometown Hot Dog in Shinnston, was a manager at different Chico Dairy stores worked as a clerk at Walmart and a dietitian at Grafton City Hospital. She enjoyed going to the beach, reading a good book and working puzzle books. She treasured the time spent with family especially her grandchildren who were her life.
Patricia is survived by one daughter, Tiffany Smith (Greg); four grandchildren, Maelee Smith, Greyson Smith, Logan Maphis, and Damien Reseter; step-son, Jason Newbraugh; two sisters, Tina Sloan, and Janice Tucker (Donald); several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Patricia is preceded in death by one step-daughter, Shelly Newbraugh; and one brother, Kenneth Dawson.
To honor the wishes of Patricia she was cremated and a Celebration of Her Life will be held from 1:00PM until 3:00PM on Saturday, July 19. 2025 at Castle Creek Park, 1340 Railroad Street, Grafton, West Virginia, 26354.
