Opal Maxine Spring, 92 of Grafton entered into to her heavenly home Monday, December 9, 2024 at Taylor Health Care Center, Grafton, She was born November 5, 1932 in Tunnelton, WV. daughter of the late, John Warren and Zana Helen Martin Grimm. Opal was preceded in death by her husband Charles L. Spring, August 3, 1999.
Opal was a person that made others smile or laugh wherever she went. She was a homemaker and enjoyed being with her family and friends. Opal was a caregiver for everyone and liked to cook and help out where ever she was needed. Opal was a faithful church member of the First Church of God, of Anderson, IN. She loved her family and thought of them as her greatest blessings.
Opal is survived by one son, Andrew “Andy” Spring (Carmen), three grandchildren, Scott A. Spring (Tina) Michael P. Spring (LeAnn) Angela Brown (Jake), eight great grandchildren, Cody Spring, Ashley Spring, Shelby Spring, Devin Spring (Autumn), Charles Spring (Audrey) Savannah Spring, Karmen Brown, Gavin Brown, one great great grandson, Harrison Spring, one sister, Betty Wiles (Jerry) one sister-in-law, Anna Rose Grimm, and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Opal is preceded in death by, three brothers, Dorwood Grimm (Norma) Robert Grimm (Betty)Merle Grimm, two infant sisters.
Family and friends will be received at Bartlett Funeral Home, 202 McGraw Ave., Grafton on Saturday, December 14, 2024 from 9:30AM until the time of the service at 10:30AM., with Pastors Greg and Tonya Orr and Pastor Austin Lynch officiating.
