Nancy Laverne Poling

Nancy Laverne Poling, 68 of Grafton, passed away on Saturday, June 3, 2023 at her home. She was born in Grafton, August 19, 1954, a daughter of the late George Howard and Beulah Dale Hendershot Seargeant. She was preceded in death by her husband, William “Billy” Joseph Poling on August 9, 2021.

Nancy worked at Beulahland as a CNA and AMAP. She enjoyed traveling, working in her flowers, camping at Smoke Hole where she would wait to catch the big fish. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Nancy is survived by two children, Tammie Lucas and Brian, Paul “PJ” Lucas and Amanda; nine grandchildren, Jessica, Cristiona, Randy, Paul Jr., Jesse, Jackson, Hunter, Gloria, and James; three great grandchildren, Logan, Mason and Parker; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Nancy was preceded in death by one sister, Jonetta “Punkin” Moore; four brothers, Bob Hendershot, Guy Hendershot, Bernard Seargeant, and Randy Seargeant.
