Myrna Jean Bolyard ,81 of Grafton, passed away Thursday, November 30, 2023 at her home with her family by her side. She was born in Wendel, West Virginia, December 19, 1941, daughter of the late, Robert C. Lambert and Thelma Ruth Miller Lambert Arthur, and step-father, Delbert Arthur, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Joseph Bolyard, February 7, 2021.
Myrna graduated from Grafton High School, Class of 1959. She worked many years as a secretary at the Taylor County Board of Education. Myrna was a member of the Faith Church International in Flemington where she sang in the choir. She was a person who enjoyed life, liked to go places and drive fast getting there. Myrna loved her family and cherished the time she spent with each of them
Myrna is survived by one daughter, Cindy McDaniel (Rodney), two sons, Brian Bolyard (Janet), Mark Bolyard, seven grandchildren, Brandon Bolyard (Michelle), Nick Bolyard (Nikki), Michael Bolyard (Lora), Kevin Bolyard, Autumn Graham (Kaleb), Cierra Swiger ,Kiley Swiger, nine great grandchildren, one sister Juanita DuVall, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded death by one sister, Billie Mildred Farance two brothers, John Arthur and Robert C. Lambert.
Family and friends will be received at Bartlett Funeral Home, 202 McGraw Ave. Grafton on Monday, December 4, 2023 from 4:00PM until the funeral hour at 7PM with Dr. Rebecca Polis officiating.
