Michael John "Mickey" Cole

Michael (Mickey) John Cole, 56 of Grafton passed away at Grafton City Hospital, Sunday, June 30, 2019 surrounded by his family. He was born July 1, 1962 in Grafton, a son of the Kenneth Howard Cole, Sr. of Oskaloosa, KS, and Martha Alice (Grinnan) Cole Shanabarger, of Grafton, and his stepfather, the late Henry D. Shanabarger.

Mickey graduated from Grafton High School, Class of 1980, and Fairmont State College. He was a Bartender in many places. Mickey loved the beach, enjoyed life, and his family and many friends. His favorite TV show was Law and Order.

In addition to his parents, He is survived by one brother, Kenneth Cole and Vickie, Grafton; niece, Christie Collins and husband Todd, Grafton; nephew, Chad Drainer and fiancée Sabrina; great nephews and nieces, Cole, Mariah, Micah, Chloe, Jonah, and Sophia.

In addition to his stepfather, he is preceded in death by two sisters, Marilyn Elizabeth Cole and Roseann Cole Kenny.

Friends may call at Bartlett Funeral Home, 202 McGraw Ave, Grafton, on Friday July 5, 2019 from 3-8 PM where a Vigil service will be held at 7:30PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00AM Saturday, July 6, 2019 at St. Augustine Catholic Church with Father Binu Sebastian officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
