Merisa Yorong Lemley

Merisa Yorong Lemley, 51 of Grafton passed away at the WV. Caring Center in Elkins, WV. Sunday, February 15, 2026. She was born December 26, 1974 in the ILIGAN CITY, Philippines daughter of Victor and Maria Yorong Moralias. Merisa is survived by her husband Michael Edward Lemley, whom she married August 26, 2001.

Merisa attended high school and continued her education for two years at Siquijor State College in the Philippines, carrying with her quiet determination and hope for the future. In Morgantown, she devoted many years of hard work to Ames, Walmart and Bilo Foods, where her steady presence and kind spirit touched those around her.

She found true joy in the simple, beautiful gifts of nature — the vibrant colors of flowers, the graceful sway of banana trees, and the peaceful comfort of sitting quietly outdoors, letting the world slow down around her. Nature was her sanctuary, a place where her heart felt light and at peace.

No matter how far life took her, the Philippines was always home. She treasured every journey back, holding close the familiar sights, sounds, and warmth of the place she loved so deeply.

Above all, Merisa loved her family with all her heart. The time she spent with them was her greatest treasure — filled with laughter, stories, and the kind of love that stays with you forever.

Merisa is survived by one step son, James Lewis Lemley; two brothers, Roger Moralias, and Rouel Moralias; two sisters, Marilyn Tetra (Victor), and Mary Vic Managing; and special friend, Lori O’Dell.
