Maverick Tyee Ware, 20 of Flemington, passed away on Saturday, July 11, 2020 as a result of an auto accident. He was born November 9, 1999 in Fairmont, WV, son of Michael David Ware, Flemington, and Catherine Sapp DeLauder, and step-father, Bryon Delauder, Grafton,
Maverick graduated from Grafton High School, Class of 2018 where he was very active in cross country, track, and was an Honor Student and member of the National Honor Society. He was currently attending Fairmont State College to become a Physical Therapist, where he was an honor student. He enjoyed playing video games, hunting and was an avid WVU Mountaineer Fan. He loved being with his family and his many friends. His favorite food was mac and cheese, and apple sauce. He worked at the White Front Tavern and the Tygart Lake Marina.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by three sisters, Shawnee Garrison and husband Kyle, Belington, Lindsay Rowell and husband Tyler, Fairmont, Kelsey Massie, Grafton; two brothers, Todd Poling and wife Kristen, Flemington, Dylan Massie and fiancé Karly, Flemington, one niece Lainey Poling; one nephew, Garrett Poling, girlfriend, Shaina Morgan, Elkins, paternal grandmother, Sharon Hathaway Ware, Flemington, several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Maverick was preceded death by his paternal grandfather, Charles “Bud” Ware; maternal grandparents, Robert “Sappo” and Carol Sapp.
Friends may call at Bartlett Funeral Home, 202 McGraw Ave, Grafton, on Thursday, July 16, 2020 from Noon-8pm and on Friday, July 17, 2020 from 9:00 am until the funeral hour at 11:00 am with Reverend Tim Bolyard officiating.
