Mary Ruth Smith

Mary Ruth Duvall Kinnerson Smith, 88 of Fayetteville, NC formerly of Warder Ave, Grafton passed away on Friday, July 29, 2022 at Cardinal Care of Hope Mills, North Carolina. She was born March 13, 1934 in Watson, Marion County, daughter of the late Orpha Lee Duvall and Lovie Agnes Radcliff Duvall.

In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband Arther Leroy Smith, four brothers, Orpha Duvall Jr, James Duvall, Myrvle “Mutt” Duvall, Paul Duvall; three sisters, Marjorie E. Mauller, Phyllis Hall and Rosetta Duvall. Mary is survived by her son, James Michael Kinnerson and Ann, Canton, OH; three step-children, Sandra Kay Nasuta and Rick, Carol Fouts and Jim, Timothy Ray Smith; eleven grandchildren, Tina Nasuta, Kierston McGuire, Shay Constable, Lisa Smith, Spencer Smith, Skylar Smith, Chris Kinnerson, Tabitha Kinnerson-Robinson and Rob, Bill Kinnerson and Sarah, Melissa Diekman, Stephanie Butler; five great grandchildren, Krista, Allyson, Matthew, Mikayla, and Chaska; several nieces and nephews that she loved dearly.

Mary was a factory worker and enjoyed reading and sewing.  Most of all she had a heart of compassion caring for others to include her many fur babies.  She was a member of Grafton’s Calvary Baptist Church where she enjoyed the responsibility of typing the weekly bulletin.

A Graveside service will be held on Thursday, August, 4, 2022 at Bluemont Cemetery Chapel at 1:00 pm with Pastor Jimmy Johnson officiating.  Bartlett Funeral Home is handling the arrangements and honored to serve the Kinnerson Smith family.  Online condolences can be made at www.bartlettfuneralhomewv.com.
