Mark Poling Obituary

Mark Allen Poling, 57, of Grafton passed away on Friday, June 19, 2026 in Morgantown.  He was born on November 7, 1968 in Philippi, a son of the late William Ray Poling and Cora Mae Sigley Poling Snyder.

He is survived by two sisters, Cora Sue Shaw of West Union and Renelda Campbell of Clarksburg; brother, Harold Snyder and several stepbrothers and stepsisters; and numerous nieces and nephews. 

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by four brothers, William Ray Poling, II, Daniel Frederick Poling, Roger Lee Poling and Paul Luther Poling; one sister, Pauline Poling.

Mark was a skilled boilermaker who took great pride in his work and the friendships he made throughout his career. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, tinkering with cars, and spending time outdoors. Known for his good-natured spirit and warm personality, Mark never met a stranger. He had a gift for striking up a conversation with anyone and making people feel welcome. His friendliness, kindness, and genuine interest in others left a lasting impression on all who knew him.

Marks wishes for cremation have been honored. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Private interment will be at Sigley Cemetery.  Online condolences may be shared at www.bartlettfuneralhome.com. Bartlett Funeral Home is honored to serve the Poling family.
