Margaret Leota Barker

Margaret Leota Barker, 87 of Grafton, passed away at Grafton City Hospital, Thursday, July 23, 2020 with her loving family by her side. She was born on March 23, 1933, in St. George, WV, a daughter of the late Audrey A. Sr. and Loretta V. Foutz  Boylen.

She enjoyed the challenge of putting together puzzles and visiting and talking with her friends and family. Margaret loved being a Grandmother and enjoyed every minute she spent with her grandchildren.

Margaret is survived by three sons, Thomas A. Swisher and wife Brenda, Newburg, Lawrence A. Swisher and wife Melissa Wheeling, Edward A. Swisher and wife Millie, Grafton, three grandchildren,  Hermiety Van Laar and husband Grant, Wheeling, Miranda Cox and husband  Lucas Mount Pleasant, SC, Jebb Swisher and wife Kerrigan, Bridgeport, two step grandcildren, Matthew Hovatter, Morgantown and Chanda Kish, Flordia, two great grandchildren, Gracie Van Laar, Wheelingand Finley Cox, Mount Pleasant, SC,two step great grandchildren, Austin and Traytin  Hovatter, Morgantown, two brothers, William Boylen Morgantown, Carl Boylen, Arthurdale.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded death by two sister, Mary Jane Dodd,  and infant sister Sally Boylen, five  brothers, Audrey A. Boylen, Jr., Jack Boylen, Robert Boylen, Gene Boylen and Dale Boylen.

The family would like to extend their Thanks and Gratitude to the Grafton City Hospital Doctors, Nurses, and staff, during our Mothers last days.

A special deep heartfelt Thanks and Sincere Gratitude to all of Taylor Co. Healthcare Center, Nurses, Aides, Staff, and Therapists, and Dr. Bender for their dedication in caring for our Mother the past few years of her life. Your kindness and caring will never be forgotten. God Bless each and every one of you.

Friends may call at Bartlett Funeral Home, 202 McGraw Ave. Grafton, on Sunday, July 26, 2020 from 1:00PM to 6:00PM with proper distancing and face mask preferred.  Funeral services will be on Monday, July 27, 2020 at 11:00AM with Rev. Carl Trickett officiating. Interment will follow at the Current Cemetery, Grafton.
