Manuel Jesus Maldonado

Manuel Jesus Maldonado, 84 of Gladesville passed away Tuesday, October 29, 2024 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown. He was born June18,1940 in Brooklyn NY, son of the late the Jose Maldonado.

Manuel was a proud veteran of the US Army and National Guard. He retired with many years worked at the Suny Farmdale College in New York as a locksmith. He liked taking photographs of the outdoors and of places he visited. Manuel was an artist and enjoyed performing magic tricks with his family and friends. He was a person who never met a stranger, making new friends where ever he went. He loved spending time with his family.

Manuel is survived by several children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and special daughter Yolanda Witteck (Fred) of Morgantown, several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Manuel is preceded in death by his wife, Iris Santiago Malonado and one son.

A graveside service will be held Monday, November 4, 2024 at 11:00AM at the West Virginia National Cemetery, with full military honors accorded by the Camp Dawson Army Honor Guard and the Taylor County Honor Guard.
