Luther Marshall Peyton, 76 of Grafton, passed away Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at Grafton City Hospital. He was born in Rosedale, Maryland on September 8, 1948, son of Joseph and Lillian Pleasant Peyton.

Luther retired with forty-seven years at Burch Windows in Baltimore, Maryland. He really enjoyed being in the outdoors and liked working on projects with his family. Luther was a hardworking man who instilled that trait in his family as well. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him especially his family.

Luther is survived by four grandchildren, Donavan Peyton, Haliegh Peyton, Joseph Peyton, and Alex Peyton; one daughter in-law, Johanna Dunnigan; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his father, Luther is preceded in death by his wife, Emily June Uphough Peyton ; one son, Luther M. Peyton and one daughter, Lisa M. Peyton.
