Lucy May Swick, 85 of Grafton passed away at Grafton City Hospital with her loving family by her side on Monday, October 7, 2019. She was born in Fairmont, on April 24, 1934, daughter of the late Roy and Daisy Hawkins Shingleton, and was preceded in death by her husband Robert Dale Swick, December 5, 1995.
Lucy, enjoyed being with her family, her hobbies were her beautiful flowers and being outdoors. She was a member of the Oak Grove Baptist Church.
She is survived by seven children, Rosanna Campbell, and husband Michael, Grafton, Karen Schanuth and husband Michael Council Bluffs, IA., Sandra Shiplett and husband Dan, Massillon, OH., Beverly Swisher, and husband Don, Grafton, Robert Swick, and wife Sharon, Grafton, George Swick, and wife Debra,Clarksville, TN., Tammy Rohrbacher and husband Walter, Grafton, twenty five grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren, one sister, Ruth McDaniel, Grafton, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by, two granddaughters, Amber Lynn Swisher, Anjelica Marie Mersing, two brothers, Roy Shingleton, Paul Shingleton, four sons-in-laws, Joseph Mayle, J.R, Mersing, Bob Burton, and Mike Snider.
Friends may call at Bartlett Funeral Home, 202 McGraw Ave. Grafton, on Thursday, October 10, 2019 from 2-8 PM on Friday, October 11, 2019 from 9:00AM to the funeral hour at 11:00AM. with her son-in-law Rev.
